What customers say?

“ I was there for coffee only. it's a simple but spacious and reasonably comfortable café and restaurant. Not on the trendy side, so the clientèle is mature and well behaved, very few teenagers, students stop over. The remarkable feature is that you can learn the history of Savannakhet thanks to a number of educational panels stuck somewhere on a wall. Then on the shelves, a few books about Lao history and the colonial era, in French and English . ”

“ My second experience here in two days and completely satisfied. ”

“ Was only in Savannakhet for 2 days and chose this cafe as my breakfast spot and was not disappointed! The coffee was fantastic and the eggs were good, I ordered bacon and only got one slice that was pretty fatty, but other than that it hit the spot. The service was great and the gentleman working spoke very good English! Highly recommended ”

“ Pretty good cafe. I called in a few times just for a double Espresso. The guy behind the counter was friendly and the music fitted the atmosphere for a coffee shop. ( rather then the dance music that is played everywere elce) Coffee was fresh and fast. ”

- Lewis Todd -

“ Excellent! The food is really good and neatly presented. The stuff is polite and very kind, trying to do anything to make the customer happy. The place is very clean and nicely arranged. They went for the french look, fashionable but cosy. They accept baht and dollars. ”

“ Sweet cafe in the center of Savannakhet, with a HUGE menu of both Western and Asian dishes. I had the English breakfast (sausage, beans, scrambled eggs, toasts with butter and jam, fruit salad, hot tea or black coffee). It was tasty and quite filling! Sadly they didn’t have bacon anymore, but they told me in advance and put extra ham instead. Almost perfect, with a small minus point for the toasts that were a little too toasted for me (or maybe old?). The atmosphere of the place is nice, with calming background music and very polite staff. They give a complimentary glass of water. The good reviews are well deserved. ”

“ We are in Savannakhet for 4 days. We love dining at Lin’s cafe for its delicious foods either Italian or local dishes. My daughter told me to visit again Savannakhet and eat at Lin’s cafe. Can’t wait to come back again. ”

“ Very good service and broad selection of Thai, Lao and Western dishes. Great coffee and a big English breakfast. That I've eaten here for three meals in 2 days says it all. Visited again recently and it's still good. Most things the same even after 2 years of covid only missing the bacon and ham with the English breakfast. ”
